The name of Feeling Minnesota comes from the Soundgarden song "Outshined" from the album Badmotorfinger ("I'm looking California, and feeling Minnesota").

tell about... Sam and Jjaks are brother. Freddie (Cameron Diaz) is accused of stealing 10 grands from Mr. Red. Sam found it and return to Mr. Red. So as a reward, Mr. Red forced Freddie (Cameron Diaz) to marry with Sam. Jack, arrived at Sam's wedding on his mothers invitation. Freddie sees Jjaks and was in love at first sight with him. Freddie (Cameron Diaz) and Jjaks runs away leaving his brother behind. 
Freddie has heard from Sam that he has lots of money with him. So she tells Jjaks to get the money from Sam so that they could spend rest of life in Vegas happily. Jjaks goes to steal the money from his brother, but gets caught and beaten by his brother. Jack managed to return to Freddie. Sam spies him all the way and try to frame Jjaks of murdering Freddie. After all the dramatic odds, Freddie is safe and working in Vegas in a theater. Jjaks reached there and found her and eventually they kiss and the story ends.
